I have been participating in Lee's Tae Kwon To along with my four children for one and a half years. During this time, our lives have been altered with the fullfillment of discipline, respect and determination. Master Lee and his staff have dealt with specific issues with the utmost intelligence and heartfelt patience regarding my children, especially my oldest son who has Asperger's Syndrome. I am most grateful to be part of Lee's Tae Kwon Do not only as a student but as a mother.
Respectfully,
Charlene Giordano

My daughter Sarah began studying Tae Kwon Do in July, 2001. I feel it has helped her to become more outgoing and self-assured. This has carried over into other areas of her life as well.

I love coming to Lee's Tae Kwon Do because it makes me proud of myself. It has taught me to be confident and helps me learn to defend myself. Master Lee is "the best" of all; he makes it a lot of fun.

When I first signed my daughter up for Tae Kwon Do, I did it to give her the opportuntiy to protect herself. Little did I know she would get so much more out of it. And now, with three of my children in Tae Kwon Do, I see the differences in how they approach things and how the feel about themselves when trying new things. They don't give up as easily as they may have in the past. They believe in themselves and in their instructors. They have more patience and realize it pays off to do their best and give it their all. I see the determination and confidence they've gained both academically and physically. Now, as my fourth child starts, I look forward to see what Tea Kwon Do has in store for her. It already proved to me it has a lot more to offer than I ever imagined. And of Master Lee, he has such a wonderful way with the children and people. You see the respect every child that walks in the do jang has for him and the other instructors. There is an unspoken camaraderie among the instructors and the students. This was one of the best things I could've done for my children. Thank you, Master Lee!

I train at Lee's along with my son and as I close in on 40 years of age, I must say after trying every sport and several different exercise techniques, Master Lee's Tae Kwon Do is the best all around exercise. After only 4 months at Lee's Tae Kwon Do, my first grader has shown noticeable improvement with self control. He previously had high strung behavior. Each day when I come home from work, before he says hello to me he asks "Dad, do we have Tae Kwon Do tonight?"

My daughter has been attending Lee's Tae Kwon Do since July of 2007 and as a result, she is more focused in school, and has a very positive "can do" attitude with every challenge that she faces. I always attend her classes, and with much pride I can say that Instructor Jayson has had a great impact in my daughter's life. He is serious and yet fun at the same time. He has impacted her by teaching her to be the best and to never quit. Instructor Danny has also impacted my daughter's life by giving her the courage to try new things, "to give them a shot". Office Manager Mary Ann took the time out of her busy schedule to help my daughter learn her Poomse when all the instructors were busy. I cannot thank them enough for doing what they have done for her.
When I watch my daughter take one of her several classes, some of the other parents who have seen her tell me that she is very good. Again due to Jayson, Danny and Mary Ann all pushing her (in a good way) to succeed, that's why she is the person that she is today. When my daughter cannot make it to Tae Kwon Do she gets upset, but when she is there, there is a glow that I cannot explain. Because of Lee's Tae Kwon Do my daughter has gained a lot of discipline, self respect and is becoming a very well rounded person.

I have been going to Lee's Tae Kwon Do for over 4 years now and absolutely love it. The physical training has helped to improve my stamina, coordination and strength. I have also improved my confidence and have overall better emotional health - it's a great stress reliever! Tae Kwon Do is also great for families - both of my daughter's, Kyra and Nicole along with my husband Frank also practice Tae Kwon Do. Tae Kwon Do has strengthened our relationship and provided a common bond within our family. It is more than just a sport - it's a way of life. I am not someone who normally writes testimonials but I can say without hesitation that I think everyone should try Tae Kwon Do - I believe you will love it too!

Lee's Tae Kwon Do is an extraordinary place for people of all ages. My two children, ages 3 and 8 are both students at Lee's, as well as my husband and I. The benefits that Tae Kwon Do gives my family are both influential and self- rewarding. We get to exercise and stay fit together and learn from each other. While Lee's Tae Kwon Do focuses on the total mind/body/spirit connection, it is a great way to end our day. It is a positive release of stress, and allows our minds to reflect, and our bodies to adapt and set new goals.

My son Alex started at Lee's Tae Kwon Do in November of 2007. At first he was unsure of the martial art, however after a few sessions, something happened which inspired him to want to continue. I have no doubt that this was directly related to the friendly environment that has long been in place at Lee's Tae Kwon Do. This setting is fostered not only by the wonderful teachers at Lee's but by the Head Master himself. It is easy to see that Master Lee and all of the instructors love what they do and that they are genuinely devoted to the care and success of each of their students, both young and old.
There is a great feeling of camaraderie at Lee's Tae Kwon Do; all students encourage and support one another throughout each class. There is always great praise for one another whenever someone passes a test, receives their next tip or breaks a board. It is this kind of family atmosphere that makes our entire family come back for more.
As my son progressed steadily through the ranks and as I witnessed the participation of other parents, I too was inspired to join and did so in July 2008. I can honestly say that this has been one of the best decisions of my life, as I have never felt better physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
In January of 2009, my 10 year old daughter, Emily was inspired to join. Hopefully, my wife will get involved in the near future....
